Alanna Badgley, MEMSE cofounder and paramedic, attended the First Responders Summit hosted by Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) last month in Washington, DC.
The summit gathered EMTs, paramedics, law enforcement, and firefighters with local, state, and federal officials to discuss and learn about the work currently being done for emergency response, both on the ground and behind the scenes.
Badgley, in addition to being an attendee, worked on one of the panels at the summit. Badgley moderated panelists from FEMA and the CDC on "Grants and Funding: Firefighters and EMTs."
